Special thanks to Alycia and her colleagues who made me feel very welcomed. I also want to take this opportunity to thank everyone for sharing, liking and spreading the word about my novel “The Allspice Bath”. Your support means the world to me. And huge thanks to my publisher Inanna Publications for making this all happen! With gratitude and love.

On October 16, 2019, I had the great opportunity of reading from my novel “The Allspice Bath” as part of the 2019 Government of Canada Workplace Charitable Campaign. With gratitude to the wonderful people who came out to my book reading. Your support meant a great deal to me. Special thanks to Allison for inviting me and for all her hard work in organizing the event. There was belly dancing, drum-playing, Lebanese cookies (from Le Roi Pasteries & Bakery at 1729 Bank St., Ottawa) and cheese bread and spinach pies (from Prince Ali Bakery at 1600 Walkley Rd., Ottawa). Shukran, merci, thank you everyone!
